It is bounded by Southland Drive SW to the north, 24 Street SW to the east, Anderson Road SW to the south and Tsuut’ina Trail to the west. Braeside is to the east across 24 Street, and Woodbine is to the south across Anderson Road.

Getting around. Cedarbrae has its own station on the MAX Yellow bus rapid transit line, which runs north past the Southland Leisure Centre and Rockyview Hospital to Mount Royal University and downtown. Tsuut’ina Trail, part of the ring road, is on the community’s west edge, and Southland Drive and Anderson Road connect east toward Macleod Trail. Calgary Transit Route 125 also connects Cedarbrae with Southland CTrain station on the Red Line.

Amenities and recreation. The Southland Leisure Centre, a City of Calgary facility with a wave pool, dive tank, weight room and gymnasium, is a short trip east on Southland Drive. Fish Creek Provincial Park, one of Canada’s largest urban parks, is just south past Woodbine. Housing. Cedarbrae offers a mix of duplexes and semi-detached homes, townhomes and detached houses, so buyers can compare several home types and price points within one community. Most homes date from the 1970s and later, so condition and updates differ from home to home.

Buying in Cedarbrae. For duplexes, check whether the home is on its own title or part of a condo plan, and what that means for fees and shared walls or roofs. For townhomes, review condo fees, the reserve fund study and the bylaws. On older homes, a licensed home inspection is strongly recommended. We can help you check the title and RPR before you firm up.

Selling in Cedarbrae. Buyers compare home types closely here, so comparables should match type, title (freehold or condo) and level of updating.
