Living in Legacy

When it was built. WestCreek Developments began planning Legacy in 2001 and opened sales in 2013. At the 2021 Census, 69% of homes were built in 2016–2021, and the community had 8,000 residents. It is still building out.
Nature. WestCreek describes more than 300 acres of protected environmental reserve with about 15 km of connected trails along the escarpment. The two storm ponds on Legacy Circle SE are for drainage, not for swimming or skating. Jane Seymour’s Open Hearts sculpture on Legacy Mount was unveiled in 2016.
